Design
This color scheme is an implementation of the Kwezal Essential Color Palette for syntax highlighting.
Apart from the use of a specific color palette, the Kwezal Vibrant Color Scheme was designed according to the following ideas:
- The color scheme should not only be visually appealing but also increase productivity.
- As much information as possible should be conveyed by as few colors as possible.
- Similar language constructs (e.g., classes, structs, interfaces, traits) should have similar colors.
- Errors and warnings should be annoying but not glaring.
- Unsafe and error-prone code (e.g., unresolvable references) should be as conspicuous as warnings or errors.
- Identifiers under the caret should be as eye-catching as search results.
- Coloring should be consistent across all languages.
Attributes
